Now startup Fiddler, go to Filters, check Use Filters, from No Host Filter, select from drop-down menu Show only the following hosts and put this thing inside "*." WITHOUT the " Wi-Fi - > Hold click/finger on your connection press modify, then show advanced settings, Proxy Settings, Enable, put there the local IP of the computer/laptop that is using Fiddler at the moment, as in my case it is 192.168.0.103 and the port is 8888, then apply and okay, return to the game, you're done with this part. Go to Ruleset, Rules, create a new Rule, on Rule Action select from drop-down Redirect through Proxy, on Proxy select the HTTP proxy you made earlier, on Program go select the exe of your application(Droid4X.exe for Droid4X and HD-Network.exe for BlueStacks), then at Destination Port Range put the first one 80 and name it whatever. Now repeat the same procedure except for the HTTPS proxy you made earlier with the same exe ofc and at Destination Port Range put the first one at 443.Okay okay okay, now you're done with Prox圜ap, congratulations! ENABLE it's functionality now by going to the tray and right clicking the Prox圜ap icon and enabling it. Now for the Prox圜ap part, open up the configuration, go to Ruleset, Proxies, add a new HTTP Proxy(you select it from the drop-down menu) name it whatever, port 8080 with the IP you just got from earlier from Fiddler(NOTICE: if you try to get two different Fiddler IPs from one network from a router, it will not work, it's just the same IP on both devices, so if you have a laptop and a PC connected to the same network you use the same IP you got from the first device that started Fiddler). Now do the same and add a new HTTPS Proxy(again from drop-down menu), name it whatever, port 8080 with the IP you just got from earlier from Fiddler(same NOTICE). ^ SAVE THIS THING IN A NOTEPAD, you will need it later for Prox圜ap(strictly for Droid4X and BlueStacks) NOW a very important step(for Droid4X/BlueStacks procedure), you need to go to Fiddler, MAXIMIZE the WINDOW, and in the right corner after a couple of minutes of wait you have a THINGIE named Online.Hover your mouse over that, and you'll see a couple of numbers.NOW, what you're looking after is the IP after your local IP.SO my local IP that shows there is 192.168.0.103(the default local IP on a network from a router starts with 192.168.0.1xx with xx being replaced by other numbers BUT THAT DOESN'T NECCESSARILY MEAN IT'S YOUR CASE AS WELL, so just be sure to check with Command Prompt->ipconfig and look at your LOCAL IP).So under 192, you should have an IP like 27.171.210.248(just a random example, don't take it for granted. Then you would download and install Fiddler, OPEN it, go to TOOLS, HTTPS TAB, Decrypt HTTPS Traffic, then switch the TAB to Connections and enable Allow remote computers to connect.OKAY, now we have to close and restart Fiddler and it'll ask you for some permissions mainly for the certificate so it'll work with what we need. So, I'll cover the Android router as well as the Droid4X router, although they have plenty of similarities, keep watch on the instructions so you will not be pissed that it doesn't work for you.įirst of all(for Droid4X/BlueStacks) you install Prox圜ap, and you restart your PC. So, I'm guessing you guys followed Keripo's tutorial and didn't get to the bottom of it.Well, after a while I got the heck of it, and I'll try to explain as fine as I can all this fluff. No images for now, sorry but I am very tired and school is waiting to kick my ass tomorrow again.įirst of all, the applications you need are the following:įor Android/iOS(although I will not cover iOS since I don't own an iOS device but the procedure should be similar):įor Droid4X(this procedure SHOULD also work for BlueStacks but I haven't tested it yet, I will soon enough and come back with some explanations) I request this thread to be put at Guides since it is the most complete and easy to follow Packet Sniffing(with the help of Keripo's guide yeah), and I will also upgrade this thread with (possibly more?) explanations and maybe even images as soon as I have the time to do exactly that.Thank you alot!
